House Keeping
21+ Event:
This is a 21+ event. In the future we hope to host productions that include adults of all ages.
Dress Code:
Cocktail attire is encouraged. Feel free to get creative with it! Dress up, but wear your boots and converse! Think of this as the anti-prom you always wished you had!
Masks:
If you don't have a masquerade mask, we've got one for you. For those bringing their own, please refrain from wearing items that cover your whole face. Halloween masks are not allowed.
Food & Drink:
We have three cash bars, and we'll have up to three food trucks selling bites in the courtyard. Outside food & drink must be discarded for entry to the venue.
HOW TO PLAY
Starting the Game:
The game kicks off at 7:30pm. Our MC will welcome the VIPs onstage, and they'll introduce themselves. The band plays their first set, and guests can interact with our VIPs to learn backstory and context.
Getting clues
Besides talking directly with VIPs, there will be a side stage where guests can see scripted monologues. Guests should also talk to each other to share clues. There might be other ways to obtain crucial information, too....
Guessing:
One character will meet their fate. The MC will then prompt guests to guess (via phone) which of the remaining VIPs is the murderer. There are three chances to guess correctly. Each correct guess earns 1 entry for the big cash prize.
Big Cash Prize:
At the end of the night we'll determine the winner of the $500 cash prize! Winner must be present to collect the prize.
What else?
Interactivity:
Guests will never be compelled to participate in the game beyond their comfort level. You may be asked by a VIP to participate in mini-games for other prizes.
Respecting Each other:
We hired actors to help make the night fun. Feel free to verbally engage with them, but do not touch them unless prompted. Consent is ongoing, and everyone attending this event will respect one another.
